Tazzari RP-23 Stone Grinder

The Tazzari RP-23 is a world class stone grinding machine. This Tazzari machine along with the previous models was designed by Lars Svensson (standing in the picture beside the Tazzari machine). For more than fifteen years, Lars has worked with manufacturers to develop and refine the capabilities of the Tazzari machines. Over this period of time, Lars has worked with and provided grinding expertise to some of the world`s best skiers. He worked with the Norwegian National Team during the 1980’s when Daehlie, Ulvang and Alsgard were at the height of their careers, as the strongest men’s team in the world. In the 1998 Olympics, he worked with the Swedish and German teams. Over the course of time, he has continued to develop and refine the machine in order to maintain its status as one of the finest Nordic stone grinding machines in the world.

An integral part of the stone grinding process is the quality of the diamonds and the stones that are used by the machine. The stones and diamonds that are used in the RP-23 machine were also designed by Lars Svensson. These diamonds and stones, which are as good as there is in the industry, are manufactured for Lars exclusively and therefore used only in the Tazzari machines.

The Tazzari RP-23 machine is exactly the same machine as the grinder that is owned and operated by the Canadian National Cross Country Ski Team. The Canadians, Americans and numerous other countries used this same Tazzari machine to grind skis on a daily basis at 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
